NYC teachers, earn your P/A+ credits with our expertly-crafted, classroom applicable online courses. Each self-paced course is ASPDP/NYCDOE approved for 3 P/A+ credits and is facilitated by expert teachers and instructional coaches.
P/A+ credit courses can be applied to the BA+30, BA+60, and MA+30 differentials and NYS PD requirements.
To be eligible for NYC DOE P/A+-credits for these courses, participants must register and pay an ASPDP fee directly through ASPDP. Participants must visit the ASPDP site to complete the registration, where participants can either create an account or log on to their existing ASPDP account, then choose the "Enroll & Pay for Courses" link. Any participant who does not complete this enrollment process on the ASPDP website by the registration close date will not be eligible for P/A+-credits. Please email ASPDP at ASPDP@schools.nyc.gov should you need more information.
Refunds: Per ASPDP policy, P/A+ credit courses cannot be refunded.
Receiving credit: Courses will be graded and submitted to ASPDP two weeks after the end of the semester. A course cannot receive credit unless you enrolled with both Advancement Courses and ASPDP during the registration period. Once your grade is submitted to ASPDP, it takes 8-10 weeks after the semester ends to process final grades. ASPDP will send an email once your final grade has been processed. Extensions: Extensions are available but require the courses to be purchased a second time with both ASPDP and Advancement Courses and to be completed within the next semester.
